Obituary for Ena "Nenita" Ruiz

Ena “Nenita” Ruiz, 98, passed away on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at University Hospital in Newark, NJ. Nenita was born in Santa Clara, Cuba and came to the United States in 1956 and was residing in the Ironbound Section of Newark.

Ena and her husband owned Ralph’s Market on Nichols Street in Newark from 1958 – 1980.

Wife of the late Rafael Ruiz; devoted and loving mother Teresa Walsh and Mary Ann Diaz and her husband Jorge; dear grandmother of Roger Abiague, Sergio Diaz, Jimmy Walsh and Johanna Walsh; also survived by 8 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are welcome to attend the Funeral on Tuesday, January 9 at 9:am at the Buyus Funeral Home, 426 Lafayette St. at Wilson Ave., Newark. Thence to Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ.

Visitation will be held on Monday, January 8 from 5 – 8 pm.
